Fuzzbuster

After the 1973 oil embargo, the peanut farmer president decreed a national speed limit of 55MPH.  This did not go over well with the peasants using the roads. And thus was born the radar detector industry.  Electrolert was the first commercially successful company and called their detector the 'Fuzzbuster'.  The name soon became synonomous with radar detectors of all kinds.

I found an original 70's vintage Fuzzbuster at an estate sale.  It appears to be New-In-Box and includes the spare light bulb, instruction manual and brochure.
